Can you force it into a safe-mode startup? If so, set it to not autorestart after a crash so you will get a BSOD that contains details about the error.

Right-click My Computer then left-click Properties~Advanced~Startup & Recovery Settings then uncheck the box for Automatically Restarting after a System Failure.

Dang - that would certainly have been the simplest option. Ah well.

Take a look Here for details about starting your PC and getting to the recovery console. Once there, type in chkdsk /r and ENTER. If it asks you any questions, answer so that it will run the scandisk for you. That may fix things.

If not, I think there is a way from the same recovery console to change the setting to force the PC to give a BSOD rather than this endless boot cycle but I don't know what it is. Several others on here do know and hopefully by the time you post back with the details on chkdsk helping or not, they can tell you how. I'd also like to know because it would be very useful for this type of problem and you are not the first to run into it.
