 "NTLDR is missing Press any key to restart" Here's what I've done so far. Created the 4 start up discs for Win 2000 from PC Doctor Plus CD. (What a great tool!!). I get to the Console Recovery section, and it is like it stops cold. It doesn't ask me what I want to repair, or ask for the admin password. Then, I tried the EZ Boot Disc...and it says Windows could not start...Missing Ntoskrnl.exe........
I don't have an original windows 2000 setup disk, or I would copy the files I need. Any suggestions??

Anyone...HELP?? Thank you ahead of time!

Hi, I have just gone through this process after my 2000 would not boot anymore I installed incorrect Modem drivers and it would not boot again. I did try as you have the recovery Repair option with the 4 Floppy's but it did not help me.
I ended up Formatting the drive then use the 4 Floppy's to boot before the Windows 2000 CD would continue to install, but yes I do have a Win. 2000 CD.
I hate to say this, I did spend a few hours trying but no go.
    Hope you have better luck.

Thanks for the reply Hawk. I tried to upgrade to XP, and it says the drive is corrupted. Did some diagnostics, and the ECC test failed. I think it's a goner!
