    Hi all,
To save myself hours or days of work installing, tuning and tweaking my OS I decided to copy & compress the partition to a CD (DVD) I do this with a beautifull little piece of free (DOS) software called "Savepartition ".
I have to boot from a second partition to do this. But I seem to be unable to create a boot CD for this laptop. I get the message: "Corrupt or missing command interpreter, type...........) But whatever I type I get the same message. When I insert the newly created boot disk in my Desk-top it boots up fine. What am I missing?
    Thanks guys!

PS: I do not have a floppy drive to boot from.

Try this bootable CD image. It runs in a RAMdisk after loading, so it can be removed and the drive used for something else, like an OS CD. If you don't want to use the GUI, just exit it and you will be in normal DOS. Many tools have been added.
