We all know and love the "Safe Mode" choice when booting up Windows ME after encountering problems. Now, however, whenever I boot (hot or cold) my machine, I always get the Boot Choice screen (you know, Normal, Logged, Safe, etc.) without presing the F8 key. It just automatically goes to this screen during boot-up. It's just a minor annoyance. I can select "Normal" and it boots the rest of the way just fine, or if I don't do anything at all, it times out and boots normally. I need some help in figuring out why this screen comes up unsolicited.

Start\Run, type in Msconfig and press Enter. Click on Advanced, uncheck Enable Startup Menu.

    Markp62,
You had the right answer to my dilemma. Even Microsoft Tech Support couldn't give me the answer to this problem. Thanks a lot!!
