bookmark limit

I've recently reorganized my Bookmarks into different folders. However, when I updated the Bookmarks on my laptop using Mozbackup, the Bookmarks were still in the old folders. When I looked in my profile on my PC, I saw that my profile hadn't updated, and when I experimented by adding a new bookmark my profile still didn't update. Is there some limit on the number of bookmarks you can have in Firefox?

 

I have a lot of bookmarks, but I don't use Mozbackup, which has been reported to have some problems. Please refer to this writeup
