Using XP Pro I use the Firefox 3.5, the "bookmarks.html" file that when restored to Firefox gives the most recent bookmarks. But using the same file to import to
IE 6 the bookmarks it produces an old version (many months older) with old Folder and Favorites names.

Is there a better file to import from than "bookmarks.html "?

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Internet Explorer stores it "favorites" in this hidden folder:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Favorites

They are individule files that can easilt be copied from one machine to the other.

IE also has an Export function found under FILE->EXPORT/Import.

Thank you. I know about the "Favorites" folder. When I use the Firefox "bookmarks.html" file to update the "Favorites" folder, the Favorites are not truly updated with current bookmark info. The info is months old. I know this because folder names are what I used almost a year ago.

I don't understand why they are not the current Bookmarks as they appear in Firefox.
