I made a Resume (document) on a computer using MS, WORD. I had a boarder put around it (printed OK). I saved it on a floppy and brought it home and opened it in my machine. The bottom border doesn't show in print preview when viewed on mine. I put the margins all the way but still doesn't show. Lists page 1 of 1 so it's not on another page. I have WORD 2000 on Windows 98, and the other computer I'm not sure; I know it wasn't XP. How can I get the margin to print using my machine? Thank you, Chris.

You have to change thr border to go around the text instead of the edge of the paper.

Go to Format and select Borders and Shading

    Page Border tab

    Options button

Under 'Measure From:' select Text instead of Edge of Page

    OK your way out

Thanks KevinSaul, It worked, kind of. It moved the boarders in, way in. Now it looks dumb with the boarders tight around the text with big space around the edge. I tried to set the boarders farther away from the text but couldn't. Any more ideas? Thanks again, Chris.

You could try adjusting your page setup margins or maybe you could put some blank spaces in each line to fill the lines to the edges of the page

Can't seem to get it to work. I'll keep trying.
