Has anyone tried a bluetooth 56k modem? As far as I can read on the web bluetooth only works for about 10ft and certainly will not work around my house through walls etc. I think a better system would be DECT. Comments would be appreciated.

    Bluetooth Modem

To anyone interested, I now have a DECT modem (basically a digital cordless phone), it works perfectly around my bungalow from one end to the other, some 15 metres. The unit plugs into my USB port and the base into the phone point and mains power. The device is marketed (in UK) by btshop.com but is Sagem. The only bluetooth device I could find was www.bluetooth-devices.co.uk at double the cost.
