I just built my first computer. So much fun!
    MB: ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
    Processor: AMD Athlon X2 3800+
    Memory: Kingston KVR400X64C3A/1G X2 (2GB)
    GPU: ASUS EN6800GT 256MB
Case: Antec Sonata II w/ 450 watt PSU

Everything worked fine for two days, then the blue screen stop popped up on startup.
    "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL "
    Tech Info:
    Stop: 0x000000D1 (0xE00000ED, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xAAB338D4)
    HTTP.sys - Address AAB338D4 base at AAB22000, DateStamp 41672744
    Beginning dump of physical memory

Different number sequences show each time.
This started after I was finally able to get the new computer to connect to my old one to transfer files. I haven't done anything other than remove and reinstall the video card due to having to reattach the heatsinks because they fell off. They did not make contact with any other parts. A common problem with the EN6800GT rev. 1.01.

I am going to try a memory test from memtest86.com. Any other suggestions?
    Scott

    Hi,

Your debug report does not provide the stack trace and I believe that the culprit is NVTcp.sys (nVidia Firewall). De-install or upgrade Nvdia Firewall will resolve your problem.

I have booted to safe and did a system restore to before my GeForce video driver install and have run for quite a while without any problems. I had other things installed around the same time, so I plan on reinstalling the drivers and leaving other changes alone for a couple days and then seeing how that goes. Does anyone have any suggestions for good drivers for the ASUS EN6800GT GeForce 256?

    Hi,

I believe that your problem is related to nVidia Firewall. Can you post the stack trace and module list here?

I will post traces and dump logs if I run into the problems again. I am planning on uninstalling Nvidia firewall and sticking with Windows FW for now. I have a router FW so am not concerned there. I am going to take it slow going for installing drivers and software and hopefully avoid this in the future. Thanks for the replies and the links.
