My wifes computer will not boot up. All I get is a blue screen of death. It will not boot into safe mode. Have tried last known good configuration and that did not work either. I unpluged the printer, scanner and speakers. Still no go. Then I opened up the case and reset the memory and sound card. Still nothing. I did find this at the end of the BSD.......... Stop: 0X0000007E (OXC0000006, 0X8069C12, OXF88B06E4, OXF88B03E0). Hope this will give enough info to help. By the way It is a Dell 4700 with XP Home. Thanks............Mike

    Hi,

NT status code 0xC0000006 stands for in_page_error and it is usually caused by bad paging space or bad i/o sector of the harddisk. Run sfc /scannow and reallocate paging space.
