Hey, I have a great pc and recently I have been getting BSOD'ed (blue screen of death) sometimes when i about to reboot. It closes all of the programs and switches to the old windows 98 theme and then goes t oa blue screen and says something like STOP ERROR something something. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hi Brian

Details of the Stop Error would help as would any error messages from Event Viewer at this time.

Ensure you are configured to write out a memory dump

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, double-click System, and then click the Advanced tab.
Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery area.
View or change the type of memory dump under Write debugging information.

Check to see if you have a dmp from the occurance, and follow the directions to run this analysis tool
