I know that many people have posted a thread on this but the situation i am in is different from what others have. I was on my computer playing a game from a website (the ones you dont have to download if it makes a difference) and all of a sudden my computer just goes blue with the texts about problem with the computer. So I restarted my computer hoping that it would fix by itself. Instead i cant get into my computer any more and the blue screen would pop up again. I have been trying to get into my computer for the last half an hour. It still wont go. So i decided to go in with safe mode. The thingy is that i got in but after being in safe mode for like 2 minute it just goes back to the blue screen. I gave up and dont know what to do anymore is there any way to fix it without getting the information stored inside erased? I have important data inside. I am on someone else computer right now in order to post this up so if anyone can help me thanks.

    Possible overheating.
Turn computer off, open the case, clean inside, using a can of compressed air.
As a temporary test, don't close the case, find home fan, blow it toward computer.
Turn computer on, and see, if it'll extend the time of being up.
See, if all fans are working.
    Computer specs may help.

im not sure if that is the problem but ill try it thx. I dont get how over heating has to do with it. Its not shutting down by itself its just that the blue screen keeps popping up.

Follow these instructions to post a Dump Data Log.

If you do not have a dump, ensure that your machine is configured to write out a dump by following the directions from microsoft
