Blue Screen and other problems

I am using Win 2000. Recently when I was using Corel WP9 my computer jumped to a Blue Screen and I had to manually shut down (happened a few times). Since I was having other problems with WP9 I installed WP10. Again the Blue Screen with the following message:
***STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00000004, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x804150D8) IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Any suggestions?

Next, when I installed WP10 and this also came up when I downloaded and tried to install other programs .... says something about Windows Installer not installed. I sort of got around this am an able to get into WP10 (although my screens flashes about ten times before opening). I have tried investigating the Windows Installer and tried to download InstMsiW.exe but my computer will not install this. I am at a loss.

Any suggestions on this?

 

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - almost always a driver issue. Corrupt, not able to work with 2K, something.

I'd try completely removing the problem app then trying to get the Windows Installer properly loaded.

Check your event logs since they may give more info about the cause of that stop in your particular case. Post back with any additional information.
