I am unable to download the Microsoft Office 2003 SP3 update due to a missing setup file. However, automatic updates continues to send the notification and to be honest the little yellow exclamation point in my desktop bothers me. How can I have automatic updates ignore this particular update?

Hi amaurer2. What Windows OS are you running?

If you are running Windows XP click on the yelow shield icon to bring up the Automatic Updates window. Then click on Custom install. When the update shows up uncheck the checkbox for the update and click Ok. The update should be hidden now.

Does it tell you what file is missing? If so, what is it? Usually there is more than one way to skin a cat.
