Blocking P2P, torrent ports, help

    Even though I block the inbound and outbound ports bit torrent uses it doesnt work as I am still able to download. I am using the built in firewall on my modem.

    Here is an image of what it looks like for configuring the inbound ports(outbound configuration looks the same.

    I was thinking maybe I was doing something wrong. Help please.

    I use Azureus Bit torrent. It requires both TCP and UDP ports .. which I have set for port forwarding. Possible you need to "Deny" TCP and UDP if they are being used. Also, did you port forward these same ports? Possible may have to remove the port forward setting to have "Deny" to function correctly.
