I have always used the option to make the app bar disappear when I click anywhere else on the desktop. Now is sticking to its place and doesn't want
to go away. If it covers some data I need, I must use the trick to move it to
a different side of the desktop. Of course the correct option is always set in the
options. Is there a command that forces the bar to go away? Thanks,Paolo.
PS I have seen the suggestion to click at the extreme point of the bar, but it doesn't work.

Right click Start and go to Properties. Then in the Taskbar Tab choose what you want it to do. That is if you are talking about the bar that is at the bottom of your screen.

Correct. Right-click the Taskbar, select Properties, click the Taskbar tab (if not already selected), make sure there is a checkmark in the box next to "Auto-hide the taskbar ", then click Apply > OK.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to do as you say. Best regards, Paolo
