Blcoked Access to Attachment

    Hi,

    I have MS Outlook 2003 and I send myself an exe from work that I know is safe.

    The file is downloaded to my PC somewhere - I know this because it took ages to download and I watched the size of the amount downloaded. However, Outlook does not allow me to access the file as the file type is potentially unsafe..and after a look on Help it seems that there is a feature that you can't get around..... however, I am sure someone here knows what to do...?

    I know I can probably rename the file or zip it and resend, but I am not at work atm and want it now....

    any ideas?

You are notified and given the option of continuing or halting the action. This prevents propagation and the spreading or e-mail viruses to others. Additionally, Outlook gives administrators options to customize these settings to meet organizational needs."



    OL2002: Cannot Access Attachments

    Go to the "How to Customize Attachment Security Behavior" section.
