I use Mailwasher. I have blacklisted this one particular email. Today I have gotten 15 emails from this party.

Is there any way to stop this email?

Your regular email program can probably do the job for you. What do you use?

Oops. My bad. I didn't even notice you had that info in your signature.

I'm on Outlook right now but have OE at home so I'll take a look tomorrow AM and post back specifics on blocking with OE6.

Newt, I see where to block them in OE. I thought if I blacklist them in Mailwasher, that would stop their mail from getting through. Isn't that what blacklisting should do?

When you blacklist in Mailwasher, all that does is automatically choose to delete, and if I remember right, bounces it also. When it bounces, it sends an invalid email address message back. If this message is ignored, there is not much you can do about it.

Mark Thanks, I guess I'll just have to keep bouncing it.

In OE6, click Message, then "Block Sender ". That sends it straight to the Deleted Items folder. If you change your mind later, you can allow his mail to go to your inbox by going to Tools, Message Rules, Blocked Senders list and edit.

Sidenote- I use the "create rule from message" option under Message to sort my mail into folders I created. Saves time.

If you think you're getting Spammed, contact your e-mail service provider to see if they can either get them to stop or permanently block that e-mail address.

As long as that e-mail address is blacklisted in Mailwasher, you may see all of those unwanted e-mails in Mailwasher, but they should never show up in your inbox if Mailwasher is working properly.

Is Mailwasher properly deleting anything from this e-mail address when you hit the Process Mail button? :)

Harold, Yes Mailwasher is deleting and working properly. I guess the only thing I can do is to just block them in OE and hopefully it won't even get picked up in Mailwasher.

All these emails from unknown parties started coming when all those viruses were going around. Now I get so many emails from legitimate addresses but I don't know them. Probably someone that has my address has a virus.

Thanks to all for the input.

    Ladyluck,
I am not sure of which order you are using Mailwasher and OE, but you should use Mailwasher first and get rid of undesirables, then open OE.
