.bkf file from XP OS

    I have a .bkf file from an older XP machine. I loaded restored the file on my Windows 7 machine and am unable to extract/view anything. When I double click on it, I get a dialogue box that says Internet Explorer has stopped working. Is the file corrupted? Any ideas?
