Bitcion extortion scams

I've heard about these, and this week I received my 2nd email (caught in my spam filter), I'm sharing so as to educate people not to fall prey of these...

Here's the email (incl headers):

Few notes:

• The email pretends to be sent from your email account, but that's the most simple thing there is in the world
• In my case the password is just rubbish, I've never used simple passwords, but you may even receive an email with a correct (old) password that you use. Still doesn't mean the rest of the email is true though... There are many lists with passwords floating around, and if you use the same password on multiple sites.... well, you get where I'm going with that.

People (including these idiots) think that Bitcoin is anonymous... it is NOT.

This BTC address has been reported for scam 3x now (including my report). So far no deposits have been made.

I tracked the previous scam to a 'final' BTC address with over 824 BTC in it, at current rate ($6,300) that's over $5.19M!

With the help of exchanges and some detective work, law enforcement would be able to locate the person(s) behind these scams...
