BIOS upgrade

    I am having some problems with a bit of Microsoft software. Contacted them and was told that I should upgrade my BIOS. Present BIOS is: ASUS A7V ACPI BIOS revision 1004C. Should I take their advise or would it cause more problems than it solves?

    Hi Marvin:

    Before you get too carried away on upgrading your BIOS and accidently mess things up, post your problem here on the BBS and lets see if anyone can help you out. If its MS Application software related post in the "Applications" category. If it's OS related post in the applicable OS catagory.
