bios setup

    COMPAQ Deskpro 2000 MMX.Pressed F10 (as per manual) to enter setup.Next screen shows error message: "Invalid disk,replace ...... ".Can not get to BIOS.Cleared CMOS.Same result.

    I have zilch experience with Compaqs. Try "tapping" the F10 key from the beginning. It seems to be booting through to the drives.

    Unsuccessful, try holding a key down from the beginning. It may take you to the Setup with an error.
