.binSCILAB files

    dear sir,
    What these files are all about.I have downloaded one such for updating my antivirus programme(AVG home), but clueless how to do this.

    AVG uses .bin files for update. Never seen or heard about .binSCILAB :confused:

    dear rsinfo,
    yes you are right. this is .bin file, but this extension is always followed by the name SCILAB. i just wanna why this qualification and how to install these updates.

    It seems that .bin file is associated with some program in your computer. You are thus seeing the type SCILAB in Windows Explorer.

    To use this file, right click on AVG icon in the tray, choose update->Folder->path where you have stored this file. AVG would automatically do rest.

    You should edit your last post and remove your email address. It is not a good idea to publicly post your email address and will result in alot of unwanted email. Also all information related to posts on the board should be kept on the board so others may benefit. :D
