    Do folders open normally?

    Try this---->

    1.) Go to Start > Run and type: regedt32
    Click OK.

    2.) Find:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
    and click on "shell ".

    3.) In the right pane you will see a (Default) REG_SZ entry.

    4.) Right-click this entry and choose "Modify ".

    5.) In the Value Data box, type: none
    Click OK.

    6.) Close regedt32.

    Usually these things happen when trying to use tweaking programs to add command prompts, search, or something else to the context menu.

    But, who knows?

    Thanks for the followup.
