See several other recent threads for more info but basically, you can do what you want from the 2K setup. No need for fdisk or any of that.

    Hi Jazzbo,
ok what you have to do is...
    1. go to your BIOS (restart your system, then press delete ( this is for asus MB, may be different for other brands) at the very beginning (i mean as soon as there is display on the monitor), then go to "boot" and make your CD rom drive as the primary boot device. Now save your configuration and exit (make sure you have your win2k CD in before you exit the BIOS)
    2. Now your system should restart after you exit the BIOS. You should then see something like " to boot from your CD-ROM drive pess any key) and just press enter... NOw you should see a blue screen that says window 2000 setup. From here on it's very straight forward. If you want a fresh copy, first you delete your C: partition, then create a new one. Also, make sure you format your new partition in NTFS format, I think it's more stable than FAT32.

    Hope it helps... :)
