Best video to DVD software

Does anyone know of a good video to DVD program? I have tried several and none of them, after burning the video, play in any DVD player. In fact, most of them are unread by the player. Kind of frustrating.

 

I'm also looking for a good software that can burn my videos created through windows movie maker. I found these DVD creator software but I'm not sure if they are good or which one is the best. I'm wondering if someone who can give feedback on any of these software or who can recommend a very good burning software.

 

What you need is called Authoring software. And there are many good ones out there. Personally, I have used Sonic MyDVD and TMPGEnc with great results.

Almost forgot, I did to use VSO software at one time. It did work well.

I have older versions of Nero Vision Express, Pinnacle Studio Plus and DVDSanta http://www.dvdsanta.com/ DVDSanta is ok if you just want to throw some files you already made and want to make a DVD out of the files.
