I have a Belkin access point for my laptop, this has ip of 192.168.2.254 my main pc is connected to a router which has 192.168.1.1.
If I try to connect to the web interface on the belkin I can't access it as its on another network.

How can I get access to it with both addresses, I once read somewhere that told me to put the belkin ip in a network setting but I have had to reformat my pc and I can't remember how.

    thanks Flack

Change the IP on the belkin access point to one in the same subnet as your router.

    192.168.1.xxx

Make sure you set the belkin with an address out of the DHCP range on your main router.
    For example:
If your DHCP range on your router is 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.200 set you access point with an address above .200 or below .100
