    Hello Everybody,

New the Forum must say it's nice... I am a new student just entreing this glorious IT world and I find myself face with a "testing(hands on)" for a interview tomorrow and to be honest I am unsure what to expect!

Was curious to see if anybody could provide some examples. Anything would help and be much appreciated !!

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Food for thought: Some small companies run ads for IT workers....They give them a test to fix something within their office and don't pay them or hire them.......

There is no telling what type of test you'll you'll be given....Is the position for Desktop Support or Network or both?

Do you consider yourself very skilled/have built dozens of computers etc....Can install Windows with a blindfold?

The general jest is they want to know what your skills are. IT is one job that you don't want to fake or bluff your way into. When the payroll persons computer is broken and no one gets paid till YOU fix it...the heat is on..They'll want to try and find out if you can fix all sorts of things.
    GOOD LUCK.
