    Hi again all!

I have tried everywhere I know to find the bios beep codes for an older Packard Bell computer. This one a customer gave me to work on topday gives 3 long beeps - no video. Anybody know where I can find out what the codes stand for? Packard Bells site was no help. Or does anybody know what the 3 long beeps are on older PB pc's are? It has a P133mhz in it. It is not the video card because I put 2 different ones in the but know luck.

    Thanks

    Jerry

Try a Google search for "beep codes" and include the inverted commas. HTH. :)

If you still can't find anything try reseating or replacing the memory.

Not Packard Bell specific but 3 long beeps is often processor - indicative - V difficult to test unless you have a similar machine around the place
