Just wondering why that once in a while someone makes a post that is wider than the normal and horiz scroll bar must be used Example . I notice it happens when someone is posting with the Code tag.

Hi Bill...your "Example" worked fine for me...no horizontal bar. I also did not open the page fully maximized and still got no horizontal bar. I could view the whole page on one screen.

That example looked good to me too. But generically speaking some link type info doesn't line/page break.

I changed my screen resolution to 1024X768 and I could see the whole post. I usually use 800X600.

That makes sense except that only some posts are that way. I would expect whole hog or nothing.

    Hey Bill...

I'm runing 1280 x 1024 (21" Monitor) and even when I manually adjust the width I don't see a Horizontal bar until the width gets to be 4" accross.

I noticed that your running Firefox, the results above are from using IE. I tried the same page using FF and got different results. When I manually adjusted the width I started getting a Horizontal bar around 8" accross.

I brought it up on IE and the page paints OK.

    I guess it's a firefox thing.

Thanks for staying with it. ;)
