I have question concerning this hard drive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136320 would this hard drive look EXACTLY as is in the picture. To clarify though I mean does it have the hard disk exposed to wear I can see the disk spinning and such (no metal cover on it) if so I'll probably buy a 16mb cache one as this is the only Hard drive I can without having to degrade from a 32b cache drive.

Also does not having a metal cover impede it's ability to function properly?

    nikixmina,

I have ordered several drives from Newegg and they all come covered. The picture just shows you the insides of the drive. Order away!
