Once a month i backup my e-mails to a folder. I just highlight them in Outlook Express and drag them to the folder.

The problem is that a lot of my mails have the same heading and it keeps asking me if I want to over write the old e-mail.

e.g If I want to back up five e-mails with the heading "project details ", it will back them up naming them "project details" project details1" 2,3,4 and 5

However, If I try to back up another 5 e-mails a week later with the same heading it wants to over write the previous.

Is it possible to make windows automatically rename files instead of asking me to over write?

    Hi, Chris ~

A month later or a week later? :)

In OE, there is no resident header remover other than for the newsgroups. If you are continuing to save the ongoing 'Project Details' messages weekly or monthly, just create a new sub-folder and name it 'Week 2', etc. or date them and drag them in the same fashion as you have.
