I'm currently testing a theory of mine - trying to get some home-banking issues resolved - in that when I had IE6, the process worked, but when I upgraded to IE7, it worked for a short while and then stopped.

I'd like to go back to IE6 and test my theory, but I'm not sure how. You can't uninstall IE at all from a microsoft computer... But I also didn't see an older version left over on the computer to try.

I'm googling, but I'm not turning up anything useful. Ideas?

Discovered it 7 seconds after posting.

You won't see IE7 unless you have "show updates" checked on Add/Remove programs.

    Sorry.

must rollback xp sp3 to xp sp2 first to allow ie7 uninstall.creates problems with .net framework and MMC. both will need updates to work again.also many ie7 files and updates remain.one microsoft suggestion is to uninstall using START RUN type %windir%\\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe click go and uninstall ie7 this way.I used add/remove programs and now cannot access spuninst. go carefully
