Can the color of the white backround on IE be changed to reduce the glare of the bright white?

I can't seem to find any quick way to over-ride web pages with colors specified.

You can so some color changes other places though and they will work on a web page that doesn't force certain ones.

Play around with tools => internet options => accessibility and
tools => internet options => colors to see what sort of changes you can make. Also a right-click on a blank part of your desktop and properties => apperance will allow modifications but again, only some places.

Alternatively consider reducing the brightness on your monitor or screen - IE uses the same white background as any other application with a white background such as Word, Excel, etc, so if one glares they all glare?
