i'll keep it short and sweet. Does anyone know of a freeware program that you can create and restore a drive image with. I am running Windows XP Pro.

You can back up (image) your root drive using XP's Automated System Recovery, providing you have another partition or physical drive with enough space on it. Only available in Pro.

There is no DOS in XP. If you want to back up data files, burn dvds or cds. You could also buy another harddrive or spend the $40 on a drive imaging program if you must keep backups of more than data.
