Backing up prior to reinstall

I did a search and found how to back up my emails but is there a way to back up my contacts? Thanks.

 

In OE click file>export>address book. Choose which file format you want to backup to. I prefer the "text file (comma seperated values)" choice if only because if something should go wrong later when importing them, you can always read the file in notepad. Then continue on through the wizard.

To import them later, in OE click file>import>other address book and select "text file (comma seperated values)" and continue on to the end.
