Scenario: My wife Can't tolerate me. I'm the linux guru around the place, and not all familiar with Microsoft's bundled applications, such as outlook express. Recently, on her windows partition, a virus got a hold of it. I saw it coming, but now its hit hard. The gui is barely reasonable, the resolution *****, cant change it, all these error messeges. Not gonna even try to restore it, gonna rip off this windows partition and install a new copy of windows XP pro.

She's using the regular outlook express program with windows XP home, sp1. She hasnt updated it. Is there a way to backup her Address back, and maybe her old mail to a cdrw before I completly detroy windows? Thanks

And a few more 'brownie points' export her mail accounts from OE ....

    Tools > Accounts > Exports

Favourites and Cookies from IE ....

    File > Import and Export
