Hi melvinjn. Are you experiencing the backgroundTaskHost.exe crashing multiple times a day or has this error appeared only once in Event Viewer? Are you having any noticeable problems with your machine?

Thanks for your response, I am seeing this Error on my Event viewer occurring every few minutes. Microsoft word was having some freezing issues but I was able to resolve it. Since I am working on the system, I just don't want another application to freeze or crash. Just taking caution before I am stuck with it. Presently I don't see any noticeable problems on my machine.
