    I AM NEW TO WINDOWS XP BUT USE IT WELL. WAS USING 98 AND ENJOYED PUTTING A BACKGROUND INSIDE MY FOLDERS.
    HOW DO YOU DO THIS IN XP. ITS DRIVEING ME CRAZY????

    so now i have you going crazy to. sorry daisy' i thought it was just me. glad to know it isn't. lol. but some one must know. :confused:

    thanks for the info. there was plenty of it.
    but to do what i want to do with backgrounds i would have to fool with the registry and i'm not about to do that so i'll just forget it. thanks.

    You CAN put backgrounds into folders, until you install SP1. Then that option goes away. Why? I have no idea.
