With Firefox open, go to Bookmarks (at the top) and then Organize bookmarks. Click on File, Export, and then save where you want. That should do the trick.

Actually, the program is not put out by Mozilla, but rather for Mozilla, and related programs, including NS7.2.

    backup

MozBackup is a simple utility for creating backups of Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Mozilla Suite and Netscape profiles.

It allows you to backup and restore bookmarks, mail, contacts, history, extensions, cache etc. It's an easy way to do Firefox backup, Thunderbird backup

I had no objection about what the extention does, but, you said
. It is not put out by Mozilla, but it is a private effort from the Czech Republic. As the website says:

I am no longer interested in having a debate with you.
I don't know what the purpose of your interruption is
but I will not tolerate any more.
I have enjoyed this site very much until now.

I shall no longer participate in any activity on this board and as of
now I am out of here permantly as a further discussion with you as
a team member is is worthless.

I don't understand such an extreme reaction.
It was not a discussion with me. I, just wanted to clarify that Mozbackup is not released by the Mozilla Corp.
In fact, the website says so. I guess that I should have kept it to myself.
But, I agree with the final conclusion, under the circumstances.

I saw no problem with the clarification. I would like to think that most of the people here would accept the correction and get back to helping with the original problem.

Thanks. I was really taken aback by that reaction. I know. I did not have to say anything, but I wanted to educate the original poster as to what is the program, developed by Mozilla, and, what is not,i.e. an addon or extention. Oh well!
