I've been tying to read all the suss about doing this and I'm totally bollixed up.

Just WHAT do I have to do to migrate all my XP SP3 programming to WIN7 Pro?

I've read that you need reinstall all the widgie programmes with serial numbers (Like THAT'S an option, d'ye ken?) as though they're bloody new to the confuser and I've read as it's no great problem as you can use the XP-Simulator to do this...

Well, I'm one 'a those as wants to have all the (censored) options in front of 'im when doin' the "Dirty Deed ".

refrain from using such words, please.

Anyway, You can install Windows 7 Pro as a clean one and I do not know about the XP-MODE. I do not know where I can get an XP licensed - built in or do I need to buy one.

One thing for sure is that you can use the XP Mode on any machine now. just get a Windows 7 driver. Just my opinion and I am not 100% sure about Win7 Pro's advantages.
