AVG-scan shows : Result "Change" & Status "Changed"

Hello Y'ALL,

I have installed AVG-Free Edition (7.0.308 with latest update) for the last three months and every scan performed without any problems.

Yesterday, in one of the AVG-scan, I noticed in the Test Result, there are THREE files that has Result "Change" & Status "Changed ":

c:\WINDOWS\system32\user32.dll
c:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll
c:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

Will you please tell me if it's normal to see such Result "Change" & Status "Changed" ?

Hi Chris,

Yes!

More than likely, you downloaded and installed all or some updates from Windows Update prior to your last AVG full system scan.

If you doubt my answer to your question, go to the AVG Free Forum and do a search for 'Scan Results Change' or 'Files Change'.
