    Hello,

Running AVG Version 6.0.792 & Outlook Express 6

I am not receiving the message attachment that says e-mail is certified virus free.
I have E-mail scanner set up to check and certify both incoming and outgoing mail. Boxes checked in advanced settings, except the boxes "with attachments only ".
I reinstalled the program, but same results.

Not sure if it is scanning my e-mail or not. Maybe it is, but just not attaching the message??

Help is greatly appreciated, thank you :)

I have 2 XP home boxes running AVG and neither one has ever appended the mail message with any certification. You are not alone. :) Perhaps if we pony up some money for the full version that feature will kick in. You go first and let me know. :)

Welll, pffffft. It says it's active and functional on the system status window. I guess beggars can't be choosers, aye.

Pssst, maybe someone out there knows the secret. :)

I don't use AVG now but I remember there is a box in the email tab that has to do with "use Outlook express plugin" or something to that effect.

Yes, that should solve your problem. I have the same version as you, and have always gotten the certification messages. Though the plug-in is identified as being for Outlook Express, it also works with Outlook.

Not sure what difference it makes, if any, but there is an outlook plug-in for AVG7 free.
