AVG AntiVirus hates Netscape Mail Email

Just went thru an E-mail nightmare.

Emails appeared to be being sent, but never arrived. By the time I found out, over a week had passed.........

It turns out that AVG Grisoft anti virus was intercepting them and pulling a 'Newman' with them, i.e. remember the Seinfeld show where Newman had like 5 mailbags full of mail in his closet.

I just spent about 5 hours going round and round with Verizon DSL, and all this time it was AVG hoarding them........a word to the wise.

I am scanning outgoing mail with AVG, and no problem. It is supposed to scan outgoing mail for viruses, so, was any evidence of viruses in your outgoing mail? I have, at least, one account set up in Outlook Express. Have you tried it?
Anyway, I have set up to scan only incoming mail with attachments, and outgoing mail without them. I don't send attachments.
