I cannot delete the autocomplete files or "clear" autocomplete for passwords or forms while in the internet options on the content tab. I cannot disable autocomplete function at all. Neither seem to work. What can I do to clear the autolistings of every search box that key words have been entered on msn search or any other for that matter.

You can delete them manually with the keyboard. Select the entry with the down arrow key, delete it with the delete key. It's tedious if you have a lot of entries but if nothing else works..... ;)

Thomas Mitchell--There is a chance that using the IE Repair Tool will resuscitate the functionality of that Internet Options|Content|Autocomplete window.
    Click Start|Programs|Applications|System Tools|System Information|Tools|Internet Explorer Repair Tool|Wait.
Doing this will not harm your PC, even if it does not solve the problem.

Miz, Thank you for the cure. So obvious yet so overlooked by so many. Much thanks. And yes, it was tedious. The stupid thing.

Jim, I'll try the application you suggested. See if I can't get it working. Thanks.
