    Hi
Are you aware of any similar utility to this one:
    http://www.ufaq.org/commonly/disconnect.html
which would prompt dial-up people to close their connection after closing Netscape 7 or Internet Explorer?
    Thanks

    Thanks Ramona
I'll let you know, as soon as that person installs, and runs it.

    HangUp and Autoclose

Set up HangUp and it worked . . . BUT, it also apparently caused Xp to hang up the Synaptics Touchpad on my laptop! Carelfully removed it, used Regcleaner to clean the registry and all returned to normal. Just to be safe, also used Xp Restore. This may be an Xp compatibility thingy.

Installed Autoclose. Resuslts good -- it prompts for DUN closing -- not auto closing like HangUp. Seems to work OK with Xp. No problems so far. Stay tuned.

Using NS 4.79. It's faster and more stable on this laptop. Haven't tried to see if NS 7.01 or Mozilla 1.2.1 works with this. Opera doesn't need it.

So far, it's been pretty reliable with no apparent conflicts. System OS is WinXp Home Ed on HP laptop, ZT1130.

My friend uses XP, but you say, that "HangUp" causes problems with it.

Yes. Using laptop, HP ZT1130. The touchpad was locked up after installing HangUp. Reboots were no help. Uninstalling HangUp returned the touchpad to normal. May be a compatility problem -- I don't know. AutoClose does not affect the touchpad.

No biggy. Since AutoClose works fine, I just dropped it.

    Let me clarify:
AutoClose works fine with what? XP and N4.7, or N7?

    Sorry for confusion.
Works with NS 4.79. NS7.01 doesn't respond to it.
BTW, my NS7.01 seems a bit slower than NS 4.79!? I thought NS7.x was supposed to be faster, better and all that great stuff!?
