Having a problem. I use the headset for gaming, wife uses speakers in general.
I have had trouble with switching back and forth. Several times spkrs. work then they do not. Same with headset. Checked device manager. Everything working. Nothing is disabled in BIOS. I reinstalled audio driver from MoBo disc. Found that did not work. I found and installed the latest audio driver. Now only the headset works, but not my external speakers. Tried another set of speakers in the onboard audio jacks. No Sound. I have not used system restore yet. My specs are Win7 home premium, Gigabyte MoBo, Intel Dual core Processor, 4 GB memory, onboard audio (realtek HD audio). The external speakers are Altec 4ch.
This problem is driving me buggy. Help please.

For others reading who possibly encounter a similar problem, how did you fix it Bill?
