    Hi,

I built 3 PCs with the same specifications: Intel 945GC motherboard with the Intel CD drivers that comes with.

I got the same failing error on the 3 while installing the Realtek audio driver.

    Pls advise.

    Thanx

Would help to post the detail of the error message.

Have you checked out the Intel website for updated drivers - those on the CD may not be compatible - happens :)

Install CD's sometimes fail to keep up with current hardware/software.

Not knowing what your MS updates status is, but about 4 / 6 months ago an MS update required to load/install new Realtek audio drivers... which I had to do on my computer. MS had an additional MS update you could install to make the problem go away, but I chose to just update the drivers.

I looked at the D945GCL, it only listed Sigmatel audio.
