   Was happily listening to my audio books. The next day, no sound! I got this error: 0xC00D11BA: Cannot play the file. Suggestions?

   Your first step is to reinstall your sound card drivers. If you have a plugin sound card as opposed to an onboard sound chip it would be a good idea to remove the card, clean the contacts with a soft pencil eraser and refit it.
   
   Let us know if either of these two suggestions helps.
