Go to Tools - Options - Security and uncheck "Do not allow attachments ... etc ".

    Verdi,

There is a setting in Outlook Express (so I'm assuming it's in Outlook as well) that prevents opening anything that coul be a virus. To turn this off, go to Tools, Options from the menu. Once the new dialog opens, chose the security tab. There is an option the says 'Do not allow attachments to be saved or opende that could potentially be a virus.' Uncheck this box then click OK. I'm not sure if you need to restart O/E for this change to take affect.
